Jimmy John's Compliment - Jimmy John's Bellingham - So Fast You Really Will Freak!

Review by bhskittykatt on 2011-11-10
BELLINGHAM, WASHINGTON -- I went into the new Jimmy John's location downtown the other day for the first time to meet up some friends.

There was one couple ahead of us. They ordered, then went down to pay and wait for their food. Hubs and I ordered our sandwiches. When we went to go pay, the couple ahead of us had just gotten their sandwiches.

We paid, and then prepared to wait, but our sandwiches were ready right away! I was thinking that was really fast. It was so fast it threw me for a bit of a loop! I then saw a sign in the store that said "So fast you'll freak", and I believe from my experience that that's an accurate statement.

The food was great. I had the Turkey Tom on the advice of a friend. The prices were excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. I also discovered they're opened really late, which is an excellent perk.

The only downside is that they only deliver to a 1 mile radius, and I live and work about two miles away, so I have to physically go downtown to consume their food. It's worth the short drive and the hunt for parking, though. I'll definitely be back!

We have JJ locations out here. I haven't eaten at one yet, but I've heard only good things about the food and service.

I heard the sandwiches are awesome. And that they deliver also but you got to be really close cause they have some kind of guarantee that if you don't get your Sammie in like 10 minutes its on the house.

Someone in our office is always ordering Jimmy Johns... I like how we can order and pay online, and then be eating within a few minutes.

Sometimes it can take 15 minutes, but I have had them delivered in as fast as 5. It sure beats waiting 45 minutes for Chinese or pizza. I try to pack a lunch most days to eat healthier and save money, but if I forget and don't want to leave the office, JJ is a great alternative.

JJ's sounds great, anything beats Subway around here.

No JJ here, but it sounds wonderful. I hope I get to try it someday.

Nice review!

This is the second time I've been steered towards JJ's this week. We've got one fairly close and I'm definitely trying it out. I've also got a couple of friends wandering around Snohomish that often are in Bellingham, so I'll send along a recommendation to them. Very helpful and tasty review, bhskittykatt! Glad it's dinner time.

We get their "Tom Turkey" sandwich, or whatever the standard Turkey is on their menu, very good with sprouts.

Great review. We live in Chehalis, and I am not sure how far away Bellingham, is, but I hope to be able to check JJ's out. Sounds yummy, and anyone who knows me knows how much I love turkey. Happy Thanksgiving, all, BTW.
