HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Upon making the appointment to visit the Direct Buy showroom, calls were constant to make sure the appointment was being kept and questions answered prior to the appointment. And during the presentation, the person was very informative of the positive savings that were offered and how helpful everyone would be when you are a member. But once the large desposit was made to join ($5000 for 3 years). There was not one email, phone call returned. And upon going to the showroom to look at all the books on savings of the MSRP amounts, no one offered to help find the items we were first trying to compare prices to. And after a few more trips to the showroom where again no one offered assistance in any of the areas of 'shopping prices' it we became so unhappy with our decision of joining we wanted to cancel our membership within 30 days. But we are now in a bind to figure out how to get this refund for something we figure we will never use. What we did learn is that the prices are non comparable and the added shipping is more than we were led to believe. It has been very disheartening. Direct Buy does not live up to what they say when trying to get you to become a member.
