Wal-Mart Complaint - Once again not knowledgeable
CLERMONT,, FLORIDA -- Well after this weeks grocery trip once again I came out of Walmart shaking my head & swearing I would only shop at Publix & aldis from now on.
I had a manufacturers coupon for $2 off ANY Tide product and I picked a travel size one so that the rest of the money from the coupon would go towards lowering the rest of my grocery bill just like they show on TV, those women will use tons of coupons like these to get their grocery bill down to pennies but I only had 2 I'm not an extreme couponer So the cashier said she would have to ask a manager and of course the manager said "no" & I kept pointing out that the coupon said ANY and I said I have your coupon policy with me and she turned it over to the Ass't manager who finally did put it through. Walmart coupon policy states "If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as CASH or APPLIED toward the basket purchase" this is under the section heading "the following are guidelines & limitations" section. With people trying to save as much money anywhere & wherever they can Walmart must make sure their cahiers / managers are knowledgeable on their coupon policy and be prepared to show the customer where in their policy something is or is not acceptable- it would save everyone a lot of time. If I ever do shop Walmart again I will have a manager check my coupons before I shop to know which they are going to accept I spend hundreds of dollars each week there in groceries and I think I'm going to give my shopping to another store.
