Best Buy/Partstore.com Complaint - Charge for part not shipped as promised.
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA -- On October 3, 2011 I ordered several items from partstore.com for a digital cam corder and a AIWA cassette recorder. I ordered two (2) belts for the cassette recorder, one (1) power cord and one(1) AC adapter for the cam corder. "Dennis" who took my original order promised shipment in seven (7) to ten (10) days. Dennis was located in Texas. When the order did not arrive, I started calling to check on the status of the shipment. On several calls I spoke with "Carla", "Denise", "Cornisha", "Chauncy Harrison" all located in Texas. All promised the parts would be shipped immediately. My calls to Partstore.com (incidentally owned by Best Buy) extended over several days from October 10 thru October 24, 2011. Also during that period I spoke with a Melissa Allen at Best Buy (Phone no. 612-292-0999) in Minneapolis and she assured me on October 19, 2011 that all the parts were shipped. When I called back on the above phone number later a recording stated it was a non-working number. Finally on October 25, 2011 I received a shipment. Partstore.com had shipped all except one(1) belt for the cassette recorder. I then called on October 27, 2011, and spoke with an individual named "Ahkeen" and he said that (1) belt had been cancelled and I would receive credit to my account for the price of the one (1) belt. As of this date I have not received credit for the charge. All calls to Best Buy/partstore.com go unanswered.
