Ford Motor Complaint - Poor Engineering And Purchase Choices For Ford Ranger Transmissions.
UNK, CALIFORNIA -- I have been a ford owner off and on for 40 years so I'm not a Ford vs Chevy cry baby. I have a 2006 ford ranger that now requires a full transmission removal to repair a bad clutch slave cylinder. Okay that brings me to a whole series of quesionts about ford.
Where of who was the engineer that made such a poor design or purchase decision to put this transmission in. I've owned a previous ranger that didn't have this situation. Why did the engineer "Quality is job one" right or as their sloguns go. Guess they're blatanly lying on that one. At the same time I'm looking to buy a new vehicle, well as you can guess I decided to comb the internet for information on major drive train problems with ford products and much to my amazement ford has all kinds of problems with virtually all the vehicles I could afford. Not to say there aren't problems with the others, but I refuse to pay over 40K for a pig in poke with all the other problems that have shown up on the internet.
