Oasis Moving and Storage Complaint - Missing boxes and rug
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- I am a senior citizen that recently relocated from Arizona to Orlando, Florida. On October 14, 2011 Oasis sent movers to pick my furniture and boxes. After a long wait, and several emails from them telling me that my goods were loaded and on their way, finally arrived on November 15, 2011.
The drivers who delivered the goods, were not employed by Oasis, they were contracted by them. They came in a hurry and left without verifying or counting the items listed in the contract. They told me if I have something missing to call them, which I did, after finding out that 2 boxes were missing containing my kitchen items. Also a small rug was missing. The driver said over the phone that he looked inside his trailer and there was nothing, and whatever he delivered to me, it was what he has picked up, the previous Saturday (4 days before) from Nevada. I called the claim phone #866-300-1299 and the answering machine said that the phone mail is full. I have emailed several emails to Maurice, the person who gave the the quote, to May the Delivery Manager, and up to date no one has acknowledged or reply to my calls and emails.
Please don't use this company. They lied to you everytime you call to make an inquiry about when you should expect your goods, and when they finally delivery, in my case, there are 3 items missing.
