Tractorpart.com Complaint - Shipped Wrong Part - Lower Radiator House for 1957 Ford 900 Tractor

Review by kdcimini14 on 2011-11-22
HOPEDALE, MASSACHUSETTS -- Ordered a lower radiator hose for my tractor a 1957 Ford 900 with power steering. Ordered via the telephone to ensure I got exactly what was required since the radiator hose has a special configuration to clear the power steering belt.

Verified and re-verified the exact hose needed was ordered. The wrong belt was sent, plus I was charged almost $10.00 for "shipping/handling" for a $10.00 hose.

Upon calling, I was told "you can ship back." So, I'd have to pay shipping once again for a $10.00 item. My belief is that Tractorpart.com should have made good on the order at no additional expense to me. It was their mistake, and they should have made good on the order.

So, now I have to order from someone else - and, I have a hose I don't need.

Seems my complaint is much like what the other complaint on this website pertains to. I'd recommend people to not do business with this firm.
