Travelocity Complaint - Never, Never Book With Travelocity! Scams, Credit Card Fraud, Outsourced
ASPEN, COLORADO -- I booked a trip with Travelocity, then called to cancel ONE hour later. The booking was not cancelled. I called a second time, had it cancelled again (within 24 hours) I was assured that I would not be charged- a week later, Travelocity posted the cancelled tickets to my bank account. I have spent 5 hours today talking to their outsourced, INCOMPETENT 'customer SERVICE' and was told bold faced lies by the supervisor (Jenny) that the account had been refunded. I have started proceedings with my bank for fraud against Travelocity. Had I not called numerous times today, the charges (over $400.00) would have never been refunded. If you book with this company, watch your charge cards and bank account(S). Another agent demanded my credit card number before she would speak to me- not a normal business practice for them as a company. 'Customer service' are people in India (nice one, Travelocity) that are behind credit card scams and fraud. Do yourself a favor- book directly with the airline. Stay away from this company!
