Clearwire Complaint - Charged for services Clearwire could not provide
BLUE SPRING, MISSOURI -- Dear Clearwire,
I am a former customer who had used your internet service for about three months. It worked fine for e-mail service and internet searches. It continually booted me off the internet when I attempted to stream movies or TV shows that I desired to watch. I repeatedly called your customer service line. Each time the representative would have me do the same thing (unplug the router or poke the reset button with a paper clip) Check the upload and download speed on the internet. Repeatedly the speed test failed to reach the advertised promise download only averaged about. 45 with the upload coming in at around. 35 and sometimes not even that good.
Bottom line your company was not delivering what you promised. Now, I may be old fashioned but where I come from a contract is void when one of the parties fails to produce the conditions of the agreement. I really do not want to take your company to civil court - even though it is cheap to do so. It is a hassle for me. What I am hoping for is that you will do the right thing and drop this nonsense of charging me the $140.00 for breaking my contract. The threat to turn it over to a collection agency and "ruin my credit" won't work with me!
Truth is I was told by the individual who cancelled my contract that I would not owe anything... that seemed right to me. You weren't able to keep you end of the bargain - that should release me from my "contract". I have read your printed statement on ethics. I trust you will handle this immediately.
Please handle this in a professional and reasonable manner. .
