Dish Network Complaint - DISH Network Rip-Off “BEWARE - Do Not SUBSCRIBE”
HAWAII -- Retailers (scammers) who work for Dish Network offer/advertise all the programs that you can imagine, but when it comes to deliver, NO WAY. Many of you might have experienced the same thing and had to pay the $420 “Early Cancellation Fees” for Dish account and Wild Blue service. In my case, I requested some local football games and some international channels and was informed that receiving the channels I WANTED would be no problem. After the installation and during the operational checks on the TV, the international channels the local football channel couldn’t be received and No Where to be Found. I was informed that an additional satellite antenna had to be installed (which means 2 Big Antennas attached to the house). While waiting for the additional antenna I watched TV and EXPERIENCED TERRIBLE SERVICE due to “Partial Signal Losses/Full Signal Losses many times. “Dish customer/technical service couldn’t help at all”. After 3.5 weeks waiting for the additional antenna and Unacceptable TV viewing, I cancelled Dish Network and received a notice to pay cancellation fees. I called Dish Network and the call taker referred me to “Executive Resolution” (what a name) and tried negotiating the cancellation fee, but “you lose because you SIGNED the Contract”. A CONTRACT IS AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN PARTIES AND IF ONE DOESN’T DELIVER THE SERVICE, I’M POSITIVE IT’S NOT A BINDING AGREEMENT ANY MORE. Wouldn’t you agree???? I’m contacting the Better Business Bureau on this Cooperate scam.
