Target Complaint - Return exchange policies
AURORA, COLORADO -- My husband and I waited in line for six hours on Thanksgiving 2011 for their door buster a 46in TV. There were only 24 available at the 298 price. We were lucky enough to have gotten one. The employee that was back there was sitting on the TVs. When we got home and opened it up the screen was completely shattered. We went to exchange it for another TV and they said they did not carry them and they could only refund our money... were the going to refund the 6hrs of our time spent out there to purchase the TV of course not! But we were expecting them to give up a comparable TV at the same price! The manager of the store didn't even take the time to come talk to us! So we went to another Target and got a more reasonable manager who did help us out a little... he was able to give us a 40in TV. We were still not satisfied, but it looked like that was our only option.
Four years ago the same situation happened to us at Walmart and their manager right away helped us and got us another TV the same size and quality! My shopping will no longer ever be done at Target! Target does not care about their customers!
