Americredit Complaint - Americredit......has no idea what they're doing!!! - car loan

ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- They have no idea what they are doing!! What a bunch of idiots!! They lost $1171 check that was mailed to them as a pay off! They claimed they never got it, but why does the company that mailed my check to them, have the cashed check by americredit! The company then faxes the copy of the cashed checks to americredit & they claim they never got the faxes! Made me feel like I was lying!! After several phone calls, AMAZINGLY they finally found the faxes!!! Then the tell me that I will be getting that refunded back to me, & all they are now saying is that I'm getting $243 of it! The car was already paid off almost a month ago!!! They said I would have that check in my hands by 10 am today....NOT HERE!! I have absolutely had it with these fools! This has been going on for a month now of living hell!!!!

This sort of story is unfortunately fairly common with companies when such a situation arises. I have had similar problems myself - they tell you that they don't get faxes that they ask you to send for proof, they seem to do everything but lift a finger to help you.
