Reynolds Consumer Products Company Complaint - Deterioation of foil

Review by bob_bo200023 on 2011-11-29
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- Purchased this just before Thanksgiving. Used it to cover leftovers. The next day, I noticed some small dark spots on the foil covering the food. Closer examination revealed the foil was deterioating and leavinig foil like deposits on the food it was covering(I imagine this could pose a health hazard). I tried new pieces, and the next day, they were the same way.

This is something they need to be notified about.

I've never seen any brand of foil do that. You should definitely contact them and not use anymore foil from that roll.

You know what? I had the same thing happen to me when I used the Reynolds Wrap Aluminum Foil - 200 Sq. Ft. There was a dark spot right on the top where it touched my turkey. The other pan I had covered was completely darkened but I didn't notice anything on the food. I noticed foil darkened when I used cheaper brands, but I never noticed this happening with Reynolds' brand before. That was the reason I bought the better brand for my Thanksgiving cooking.
