Lingo Complaint - Lingo Is Ripping Off Americans
LAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO -- I have Lingo for more than three years. When I stated, I was paying $0.139 per min for calls to Iran. They changed the rate to $0.189 without notifying me. Since I pay automatically and they charge my credit card automatically, believe it or not, I did find out about this increase after two years. I contacted them and asked them about the over charged. They told me that Lingo may send the customers about the rate increase, but I am responsible to check their webside to find out about the rate increase. Now, Its been almost a month since I am trying to cancel my Lingo service. After keeping me on hold for about 40 minutes, the line gets disconected. I realy hate to see people do these kind of practice and the law won't prosecute them. What can I do?
