St Peter's Hospital Complaint - Hospital stay - hospital/patients service

Review by LoriBee on 2005-08-27
ALBANY, NEW YORK -- Rotten care ...The employees were always trying to dump work off on one another...the aides and nurses....The hosptal was extremely hot and it made my stay very uncomfortable...the food was horrible...the water tasted like it came from an arsnic contaminate well...I had to have room mate bring in bottle water cuz the water was so nasty...the hospital blamed it on the ice machine...Yikes tells me there are making the patients sick with dirty ice...Workers came to work sick and I had a bad bout of the flu for 2 weeks plus recovery...The hosptal itself wasn't all that clean either

I was just at St. Peter's Hospital last year, for two weeks, comforting my father who had Gatric Cancer. Your description sounds totally different than what our family experienced. I thought the staff was quite professional and the hospital was very accomodating to all of us. I am not sure if the hospice part of the hospital is an entity in itself and just housed at St. Peter's. Sorry for your misfortune because a negative or positive hospital stay has a great bearing on the recovery rate of any patient. Hope you are feeling better.
