Epson Complaint - Lousy customer service - NX420

NX420 - Complaint
Review by Ronal60 on 2011-12-01
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT OR TO THE CEO OF YOUR COMPANY

This morning after receiving an email for your promotion of an NX420 refurb for $19 I attempted to order one as they were shown to be in stock. Because the site was down for maintenance I called to place the order. After five minutes of getting busy signals, I finally got through and sat on hold for about 15 minutes. Finally the representative took my order assuring me that I would receive an email for the order within an hour. He did not give me a number of any kind and I do not recall his name.

Later today I called your company, only to find out that the order never went through and that the printer is now sold out.

I have been buying Epson's for the past six years and am now on my third, using a 323 Workforce. I have had good service from you machines but as I do a lot of printing daily, I wanted the inexpensive refurb for a backup to use until I purchased a better, new Epson.

After this lousy experience with your company I am no longer a customer. I will be blogging, Twittering, and negatively mentioning this experience on Facebook and any other site I feel will help to direct customers to another company. I sincerely hope I am successful.

Remember!!! Your customer is your MOST IMPORTANT asset. Without us you do not exist. Epson just does not seem to get this fact.

I like Epson printers, but have become a much bigger fan of HP and Cannon printers. If you're so tied in to wanting a secondary printer, why not search the latest classifieds. Even new, you can find good multi-function printers now for not much more than $50.

I was at Costco today and was quite impressed with the variety of their Multi Function Printers. Nice HP's and Cannon's for $50 to $75. Think about it. With the high cost of OEM ink cartridges you can get a brand new printer that includes them.
