Towne Kia Complaint - Poor customer relations, service department even worse

DENVILLE, NEW JERSEY -- Bought a used car that was described as meticulously maintained. I was told that used cars go through a thorough check up by their mechanics. When asked for a list of what was checked or their findings, they could not produce either. I found out why the next day when I had brought it to my mechanic. He found that the car did not go into overdrive, meaning the transmission was going to have to be replaced soon. My question is did they fail to find this or disclose it? Also this meticulously maintained car, that was said to have had an oil change was down 2 quarts and the oil was so filthy the dip stick took a great deal of effort to remove. I called to request a refund for the $88. I paid for this oil change. Did I receive a call back? Absolutely not. I called again... no reply. 2 more attempts and I received a call from Manager Orlando who offered me an oil change at the service department who caused the original problem.....Seriously?????
