Campbells Soup Informative - Vegetarian Made Me Ill
I microwaved a can the evening of 22 Nov 2011. The next day, Thanksgiving, I spent in the ER with all the common symptoms of food poisoning, PLUS numbness in my face, hands and feet. My potassium was OK. Friday, I'm back in the ER, the numbness and tingling is even worse. I'm afraid I might stop breathing. Tests were run (???), I was told that nothing was found. Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, I saw my internist who ran MORE tests. He prescribed Levaquin. However, three days of antibiotics and my hands & feet continue to tingle. I have a nasty taste in my mouth and my muscles are still weak. I am 60 years old and grew up on Campbells soups. Don't know if I will ever be able to eat another can. I notified them days ago, and have, of course heard nothing. Notified the CDC today as I do not want others to go thru all the discomfort and fear I've experienced these last nine days. Be CAREFUL! Put the soups in a boiler, the old fashioned way, and let them simmer for several minutes before consuming.
