Sears Complaint - Fraud - tools
SOUTHGLENN, COLORADO -- Ordered online from Sears.com. They shipped my order to the store of my choice, I received the email and text confirming that It was in the store. Went in to pick it up about a week later, Got there swiped the card and it said I had no order to be picked up. Turns out after extensive investigation, a man had stolen my credit card number(my guess was their online site) my phone number as well, had a fake credit card with my information on it, walked in, swiped it and received my order. This was all on security cameras that were in place at the time and I myself reviewed them with the manager of the store. The man was handed my order and not asked for an Id whatsoever and left. The manager and the security guy thought he was suspicious but never stopped to ask him anything or to ask for an id for his order. I will be calling corporate in the morning due to the lack of improvement the manager of the store has made. His assistant manager claimed that I was a thief and may not be totally honest with her, she made it quite clear, however had no proof of my actions only a video of a man who she assumed was me picking up an order with my credit card. The manager told me that he could get me another set but they would have to charge me AGAIN to order it, plus wait more than two weeks to receive it. The best he could do was to honor the discount from black Friday. I just looked online and it is still discounted. Sears has no intention of helping its customers or making things right. They are only worried about their losses. This may end up on the news due to it being an issue within the company when it comes to how things are done and how easy it is to "hack" the system.
