Ashley Furniture Complaint - Shop Else Where - Sofa
FREEHOLD, NEW JERSEY -- I purchased a sofa nov.25, 2011 and delivery set for December 08, 2011. Dec 3rd I wanted to change delivery date to Dec 9th. Calls to customer service was horrible. 45 minutes on 2 phones. 1st phone I was disconnected. 2nd phone finally made it through. Tried calling the store but they don't and won't give out any stores numbers so you can call them direct. I want to then cancell the order but would only give me a store credit. My 72 hour return window had passed. They were not clear on how that worked but I will take blame I should have made them clarify it better. I became alarmed because if I need repairs in the future then what? more hassles? What store does not allow you to call the store directly?
I'm stuck with them on this couch but will not look to shop there again. Sales people look scary....... people out of work just looking for a pay check and clueless about furniture (MY OPINION).
