Kohl's Compliment - Order Cancelled Due To System Cancellation
My wife placed an order yesterday (12/6/11) for a Christmas gift. There was a sale on a certain watch and she had Kolh's cash that expired today (12/5/11). The order went through, no problem.
Today, she got an email saying that the order was cancelled due to a system cancellation. She forwarded it to me since I am able to call from work. I called Kohl's to find out what happened and any other details that would be helpful.
When I called, I went through their system and was told that they are experiencing longer wait times than normal (something that's normally dreaded). About a minute or two later, someone picked up. I gave the representative the order number and she informed me that the order was cancelled due to the product being out of stock. Without me asking, she informed me that if they do get more in and we place the order with them, the sale will be available to me.
I asked about the Kohl's cash that was due to expire today. She informed me that it will be extended and to just let them know, when placing an order, that it has been extended and they will take care of it.
It was a very hassel free and short phone call, something that was a delightful experience and informative. I am glad that my wife decided to use Kohl's and will consider going to them on a more frequent basis now that I know how easily and hassel free problems can get addressed and resolved.
