American Complaint - Pick-up of old appliances

APPLETON, WISCONSIN -- We recently purchased a washer and dryer for $1600. at American. We asked our salesman about removal of our old washer dryer. We were assured this was not a problem even though it was in the basement. The appliances were delivered, however the old ones were not removed because our salesman neglected to write removal on our receipt. I called the co. and was told our salesman would call us. That was 4 days ago. Called the company again and was told again our salesman would call us. No luck so far. Fair warning to consumers, keep that pesky law degree handy when you get a receipt from American.

Lame. They must source their deliveries to a company that is anal about removal if it isn't written down. American needs to talk to their delivery company about being somewhat flexible on site or get another company. What a waste of money and time, your included, to come back.
