JCPenney Review - Assault and continuous harassment from a random customer
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I work for Loss prevention for about a year now. Last week I stopped a shop lifter woman with a baby and stroller. I happen to be by myself at the time. When I stopped her I identify myself who I was. She refused to come back with me, I did not handcuffed her or yelled with her. I called an MOD for help. A minute later a random guy approaches me and offers to pay I explain to him policy does not allow us to do so. He then became belligerent, said he was a police officer, (with no credentials), and he was calling his police friends. I see mall security to help me with this man as he was cursing and saying racist words to me. I happen to be hispanic. I tell him do whatever you want sir. I get shop lifter back in store the man follows us and mall security kicks him out. I go back outside to let mall security know this man had been interfering and was not related to his woman. He then awaits for mall security to leave as I tried to enter store he then strikes me in the chest and I push him back. He walks over to his truck and I follow to write down license plate. Before police arrive this individual leaves. Well his now calling my store and complaining I did file assault charges and harassment. But no word from management if I'm even protected from this man.
