Taco Del Mar Informative - With Apologies To The Classics, A Tale Of Two Cities

Review by Starlord on 2011-12-06
This is a dual review for two stores of a chain. We ate at the Taco Del Mar in Lacey, WA, and to put it mildly, I was underwhelmed. The place was a pigsty, and the guy behind the counter I thought was a homeless person who had sneaked in while the employee was out back having a smoke. The food was so bad, I cannot remember to this day what we ordered, it was that forgettable. When we moved to Chehalis, we found another Taco Del Mar, but were hesitant, to say the least, to try it. Then a TV commercial for their Mondo Burrito flung a cravin' on me, and we decided to take a chance. The Chehalis store was spic and span, and the two young ladies behind the counter were super and efficient. The Mondo Burrito was huge, and quite delicious. The customer is given several choices of fillings, such as three different beans, chicken or pork, and more. If you are driving I-5 and get hungry in the vicinity of Chehalis, stop in and try the Tsco Del Mar.

You will get good food a whole lot earlier than making it to Lacey. You'll thank me.

There's a Taco Del Mar near my house. I will have to check it out.

One franchise owner knows how to keep customers coming back and one definately doesn't. I enjoyed the comparison approach, Starlord!
