Bonfe's Compliment - Salvaged My Wednesday

Review by skelly39 on 2011-12-07
ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA -- Life has not been good to me the past couple of weeks. I had a tooth extracted, got ripped on out of nowhere by my own mother, and then today...today I parked my car at work, and a coworker who thankfully was walking by stopped and told me I had a flattening tire. Great.

It was not completely flat so I thought I would just go after work to put air in it, but something (namely, other coworkers) told me to go check on it, so I did, and lo and behold, it was completely flat. I limped it a few blocks to Bonfe's. I've never been there before so I didn't know they had a separate mechanical shop from their collision shop. The guy in the collision shop filled it up and sent me across the street to their mech shop. Within 20 minutes, they had it off, patched and back on. Apparently, I ran over a nail.

Anyway, they saved my Wednesday. The service was friendly, fast and inexpensive, and I would recommend them to anyone who happens to be in St. Paul, MN with a flat tire on a -500 degree day, or any other day.

I'm gonna be in the Twin Cities here in just a few weeks. If I happen upon a nail I'll keep these guys in mind.

Now, do you have any restaurant recommendations you care to share?

Well, Boca Chica in St. Paul has pretty good Mexican food. Uh...hm. I've lived here for 16 years. You'd think I could come up with something. I don't get out much.

Nothing like a flat tire to ruin your day. I'm happy to hear that Bonfe's took care of it. Good review.
