DirecTV Complaint - Bad Company
CARVER, MASSACHUSETTS -- As many people have experienced DirectTV's simply terrible customer service and deceptive billing practices I too have dropped them as my provider. I have been disconnected since September 2011 and they still have not refunded the excess funds in my account. Requests fall on deaf ears.
Their programing line up is great. They do have the most HD channel line up. With that said, it is still worthless if every time it rains; snows; or other related weather issues results in a complete loss of service.
My last straw was when their cable box went poof up in smoke. The moron (s) I spoke to could not understand "burned up". Repeated discriptions of the probelm continued to result in the scripted response of "well lets see if we can trouble shoot the problem". I discontinued their service that day. I now have an outside antena and get FREE TV for some stations and purchased a ROKU box to get the other programming we want.
Beware of DirectTV's preditory billing, horrible customer service and programing intuptions. Thanks for reading.
