T-Mobile Informative - Poor Connectivity - Poor Customer Service
VISALIA, CALIFORNIA -- I have been with T-mobile for 6 years. For several years I had been having connectivity problems. I had 5 lines one for myself and one for each of my kids. We were unable to make or receive calls if the calls did go through they were dropped shortly thereafter. This happened at home and several areas in Visalia, Corcoran, Fresno and Hanford. I complained several times and they did nothing to help. Basically they said we will look into it then dropped it. I told them I wanted to cancel my service and they added one "free feature or another" which wound up extending my contract each time for two more years. Recently I e-mailed their complaint department about the problem and asked if I could get out of my contract one month early because I still had no connectivity. They mailed me a letter stating that I had to stay with them until the end of December 2011. I bought another phone in November with a prepaid card to hold me over but could not port my old phone number without incurring the early termination fee. So I had a different number for that period. On December
5th I went to Cricket and purhcased another phone and I called to check if I could get out of the contract without early termination fee if I paid for the month in advance. They said no, I have to keep their service not just pay for it. I opted to pay the early temination fee because I was missing important calls from my T-mobile line. I was very disatisfied with this company. I hope that by letting people know someone will benefit from my misfortune.
