Victoria Velvet Collection Complaint - NO COSTUME, NO REFUND 6 months of waiting and being told lies- Sellers excuse "crap happens"

Review by heidirelph78 on 2011-12-08
CUMMING, GEORGIA -- In August 2011 I paid Tracy (Ebay name rmodel) $182 gave my measurements and thought all was fine, Tracy warned in her add customers had to be patient as costumes could take a few weeks to make. By August I hadn't heard a thing, I messaged a few times and eventually was told Item had been sent and given a tracking number. I spent ages trying to find out what had happened to my costume as the tracking said it had been delivered. It turned out it went to a completely different address. I messaged Tracy a couple of times again, eventually Tracy said she had been trying to get it back, I said I needed the costume by November at the latest, I said the costume you sent to the wrong address won't be in a new condition even if you were able to get it back it will have at least been tried on and handled. I asked for a replacement to be made, Tracy said she would do this. By start of October I still had no costume, a few emails had exchanged, Tracy was always full of excuses and saying nearly done, just another week etc. at the end of October I said my event is in 12 days it's too late to get my outfit in time, Tracy said I have been trying to get it back from the other address all this time-I was outraged, all the lies she had told me I demanded a refund but didn't get one, my event passed and now in December I still have no refund, I am doing all I can but she just makes excuse after excuse to try to get out of it. Tracy keeps your money and you are left out-of-pocket and nothing to show for it except being personally insulted and stressed. Avoid this woman, it's really not worth it.

If you put it on a credit card, dispute the charges now.

Slimjim makes a good point, however, most cards require a dispute to be made within 60 days.

I am curious. What was this event? Is it a one time thing or can it continue to be used?
