Wal-Mart Informative - Misleading advertising
I don't want to say WalMart is guilty of false advertising, but it is misleading, to say the least. The television ads for Straight Talk clearly state that with Straight Talk, you have an Android Smartphone and unlimited talk, text and data. A simple visit to the electronics section of the WalMart website shows that the Straight talk plan alone is forty-five dollars a month. The Android smartphones may be purchased separately, and the phones shown on the site run from thirty dollars to almost two hundred dollars. I was considering going to Straight Talk, intrigued by the great-sounding plan. However, I just cannot justify spending all that money before even activating the phone. I'll stick with Tracfone, thank you very much.
