Amazon.com Compliment - Great Customer Service
I purchased a video game for my son for his birthday. It was an older video game that he really wanted and was not cheap. When I found it on Amazon I hestitated because it was through Amazon but sold by someone else. The seller had a good rating so I purchased it. My son was very happy. About a month later, the game stopped working. I still had my receipt, but the packaging the game came in was long gone. I chatted with an customer service representative, Mari B., and she gave me an authorization to return the game without the packaging but warned me that there might be a restocking fee. She also sent me a label so I could UPS it back. I was pleased to be able to return the game and figured I would have to pay the fee for not keeping the box. When I checked my email yesterday I found that Amazon has credited by the entire price I paid for the game along with the shipping cost.
