Sears Complaint - Terrible Customer Service And Repair Schedule
AURORA, COLORADO -- The most recent tech who actually repaired the dishwasher did a good job and was professional. The entire experience before that was terrible and I will definitely not purchase Sears products or recommend them to anyone because of it. The first tech who looked at the dishwasher was running very late because of a doctor's appointment he had, and I feel sure that is why he did nothing substantial, he said that our water heater was turned up too high and to turn it down and see if that worked. He said if that did not work then it was the control board (which we had already been told by an independent person who had tested it and told us we had a bad control board). When we turned down the water and tested it with a thermometer, it was fine but kept erroring out. We had to make another appointment but still Sears was not able to order the control board, they had to have someone else come out and verify that was what was needed, which was another couple of week wait with a dishwasher that didn't work. That tech came and verified the control board was bad. Then there was another wait to order the part and schedule yet a third tech to come out and actually install it. The entire process took over a month and was incredibly frustrating and terrible customer service.
