AT&T Complaint - Terrible Customer Service
LANSING, MICHIGAN -- I have used AT&T for several years. I have had previous problems with customer service, but it seems as if there was a time when I was at least getting misinformation from people who spoke English. Now the company is deliberately concealing payment history information that was and should be available to the customer. I attempted to get some information by phone, but as usual, dealing with "customer service" is an exercise in futility and double talk. I don't blame the employees (I believe they are Indian, possibly Pakistani or similar culture.) They seem to have scripts from which they cannot vary. They insist on anwering questions I did not ask. I asked for a supervisor, and then another supervisor with no reliable answers to my question. They were polite, but that's simply not enough. Clearly, AT&T has no interest in getting positive customer reviews. Their practices insure plenty of profits, and that's where the concern ends.
