McDonalds Complaint - Moving the pole out of the drive-thru lane after so many vehicles have side swiped it pulling up to the window
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA -- The drive-thru at the Collins and Limonite location was a very tight fit for most size vehicles especially the full size. I had been to that location before once but not thru the drive-thru. The tight fit is not the whole problem it's the fact that one of the building protection pole was mounted on the drive-thru lane below the curb making a tight squeeze even tighter! Causing vehicles to side swipe the pole every time. After my first visit to dine-in our next visit was drive-thru without knowing of the pole in the lane. Sure there are signs posted MAKE WIDE TURNS before coming up to the curve and pole but no matter how wide people made that turn without going over the curb and grass on passenger side and just the witdh of the lane the vehicle hit the pole on drivers side coming out of the turn. I didn't ever want to go true there again but one week later I did and said to my wife that was easier for some reason we had more room then I look down out the drivers window and seen that the pole had been moved to the top of the curb instead of below the curb on the lane itself where it was in the first place that made me mad poor original construction planning! I was gonna let it go but the more I drove by that McDonals the more I thought about it I wondered if I was not the only one to hit that pole. How long did it take before putting up the wide turn signs and finding out that didn't solve much before cutting the pole out of the lane and setting it up on the curb? So one day I stopped there with the camera and started shooting now there's enough room barely! Managers came out took my name and number and said I would be called by someone else who could talk with me about this and no body has called me back in weeks. Thanks for finally fixing the problem with the pole BUT WHAT ABOUT OUR TRUCK I would like that fixed all so! Does anybody know of any class action suit?
