Crowdus Financial Group Complaint - Insurance Sales Rep Questionable Practices

Review by farmerbill14 on 2011-12-12
WHITSETT, NORTH CAROLINA -- A Mr. B. C. from Crowdus Financial Group, apart of the National Agents Alliance, was verBally abusive to wife today when he arrived at our home to speak with my mother who was not present. My mother was at the hospital. Crowdus called our home Saturday pretending to be a friend of my mother. My wife tried to get information from him that day as to who he was. He was insistent that he was a friend and used my mother’s first name only. My mother, who has early onset of dementia and is under counselors care, was eventually given the phone. After the phone conversation my mother said it was some insurance guy. Because Mr. B. C. would not identify himself he was not informed that I am my mother’s payee of her estate. Mr. B. C. arrived at our house today without calling first and was upset my mother was not here. My mother was at the hospital with my sister. My wife tried to explain my mother’s condition and Mr. B. C. began to be irate about my mother's driving habits. Saying my wife was not taking care of my mother. My sister was driving. He went on and on saying, I hope your mother dies and you have no money. The very same night Mr. B. C. called and hung up when I answered the call. I called him back. I informed him not to call here any more. He mentioned that he had a paper that my mother signed back in April or May of this year. I asked if he would send me a copy of it. He replied no it was his because he paid for it. Paid for it? It has to be a list of people from an information gathering agency. Not something my mother signed asking for insurance from his agency as he implied. When ask why he said he hoped my mother died, he said no, no, no, I said I hope she doesn't die and leave you with nothing. really what insurance sales says anything like this? This individual dangerously sped off from our drive way throwing gravel and after speaking with him myself I would consider him as a liar and dangerous. His business practices should be subjected to review. The contact with Mr. B. C. left my wife in tears. How many elderly people and families does he do this to?
