All American Fitness Complaint - Neglected Tulsan - Fitness Center
Fitness Center - Complaint
TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- I have been a member of All American Fitness in Tulsa for about 5 years. I have noticed that the Broken Arrow location is the company's "baby" and the two Tulsa locations are consistently shortchanged. From the newest equipment to the classes they offer (times and variety) to overall maintenance, the B.A. club always comes out ahead, while the two Tulsa locations remain neglected. About 2 months ago the 69th & Lewis location had a fire that has completely closed it down for an undisclosed amount of time. (Rumor is until Thanksgiving!!) I now have to travel to the next closest location, 31st & Garnett (Which is still across town for me). I am a runner and the air circulation in this location is so poor that the treadmill area is consistently between 77-80 degrees. This is unacceptable and unsafe for long distance runners. If I wanted to run in the heat, I would stay close to home and run Riverside. Even though I have called the corporate office 4 times and spoke to numerous people at that club over the past 2 months, nothing has been done to correct the problem. Not even so much as a fan in that area! (Which I have specifically requested) The place in the club that should be the coolest (near the cardio machines) is actually much hotter than any other area of the club! All American needs to get on the ball and step up the service and amenities in the Tulsa locations.

Don't expect much from calling the main office at All American Fitness... they are absolutely worthless and useless. All of them!!

I am a member of an All-American fitness club in Oklahoma City at 104th and Western. I and others members have to complain for two months before things are fixed. Specifically the sauna in the men's locker room was broke in July. It was finally fixed sometime in September. Now we have one shower that hase been broken since 12/2/06 that I know of and another that broke this morning. I work out at 5:30 am when there is only one employee on staff and he is always working out with his girlfriend while I'm there. They can't even keep the place clean. I visited their location on Northwest Expressway in OKC and the members there had the same complaints. If you are thinking of joining a gym I would recommend against All-American. I am currently looking for a new place myself.

IF YOUR SMART STAY AWAY FROM THE 69TH & LEWIS GYM.
THE AREA MANAGER THERE HAS BEEN DOING THE SWITCH & BAIT ON CONTRACTS. PEOPLE HAS CALLED CORPORATE TO CORRECT THE CONTRACTS OR CANCELING THEM. IT HAS GONE THROUGH 3 GENERAL MANAGERS. THE CLEANING GUY THERE GETS YELLED & GRIPED @ ALL THE TIME. HE DOES HIS JOB. GOD BLESS THE CLEANING GUYS HEART. POOR GUY GETS PICKED ON A LOT BY THE AREA MANAGER ROLANDO M. ALL THE TIME. I`VE BEEN IN THERE WHERE HE THREATENS TO FIRE HIM & REPLACE HIM WHO WILL TAKE ORDERS LIKE A DOG. THEY FAVOR SKINNY CHICKS AS RECEPTIONIST. IF YOU ARE SLIGHTLY OVER WEIGHT & NOT ATTRACTIVE YOU WILL GET IGNORED LIKE NO TOMORROW. THE GYM DOES STAY FAIRLY CLEAN. I GIVE IT AN A+ ON THAT NOTE. READ THE CONTRACTS BEFORE YOU SIGN. THE TRICK IS IF YOU CANCEL IN 3 DAYS OR LESS YOU WILL AVOID FEES BUT IF YOU WAIT YOU GOTTA CALL ABC FINICAL & PUT IT IN WRITING 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE & PAY A $100.00 TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT. THEY TRY TO TALK YOU TO KEEP THE CONTRACT MAKE THE PAYMENT LOWER BY A FEW DOLLARS TO KEEP YOU HAPPY. THIS COMPANY IS SCANDALOUS. ESPECIALLY BY THIS BRANCH. PLUS CARS HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO VALUABLES HAVE BEEN STOLEN. CARS HAS BEEN STOLEN AS WELL. PLUS IF YOU GOT LONG HAIR & A MALE PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE & APPLY FOR A JOB.
