Ford Motor Complaint - A Very Poor Service Center in Florida
PLANTATION, FLORIDA -- I am addressing this letter to you, so that you will count it towards a vote in the “Worst Service Center in the World” category. I believe that Plantation Ford of Plantation, Florida should receive this award. For many years, they have treated our dealings with them with disrespect, rudeness and falsehoods.
Several examples of how this highly trained teams works, experienced over the past year and a half, shows how dedicated these individuals are to winning this award. We have a 2003 Sports Trac. It has cloth seats. After about 4 months, the seats started to become threaded. The service manager gave up the thumbs up that this would be taken care of right away, because the truck was under warranty. A year and a half later, only half the job has been completed. Taking the truck back for another chat with the service manage found us talking to a new service manager, who informed us that we just MIGHT have to pay for the service, because the truck is now out of warranty. This is not the only incident that should be considered for the award.
Upon a recent visit to leave the truck off for service, several service counter personnel ignored us completely; even through we were the only customers. My wife knew that her next actions might cost Plantation Ford points for the award, but she went ahead an asked the service man in front of her if he could handle the registering of the service work. True to form, once he disconnected from his cell phone, he wrote up her work order, and then told her about the $650 fluid flush the truck needed. We had the work done several months ago, while the truck was under warranty.
These are just a few of the examples that we have experienced with Plantation Ford. But I believe that the biggest example I can give for this award is that nothing will be done to correct the situation.
