Sears Complaint - Poorly trained installers
RICHARDSON, TEXAS -- I bought a new refrigerator from Sears and paid $69 to have it installed and $10 to take away the old frig. Installers came and said that I did not have an inside cutoff for the ice maker and they could not go outside and cut off the water. They said I needed a plumber to do that. They left the new refrigerator. My plumber came and said the cut off is not outside but under the sink and the installers should have known that. I paid the plumber $125 to install the new refrigerator and take away the old one. I called the Sears installers on Nov. 15 and got a claim number and was told someone would call me back. No one did. I call on Nov. 28, Dec. 12, Dec. 16. No one calls back. I want the $125 back that I paid for the plumber who was not needed if the installers had known what they were doing. I had a similar experience when Sears installed my dishwasher as the installer said he had to do extra work and he charged $100 to do it. I am seeing a pattern here. I will never buy anymore Sears appliances.
