www.mail.com Complaint - Where's the Rest of Me?
SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND -- I feel like I've been "lost in space" since I was cut loose by mail.com without so much as a "goodbye."
Several years ago, I paid money to Iname.com to secure what they assured me would be a "permanent" E-mail identity. E-mail was being forwarded to my ISP.
Earlier this month, I noticed an E-mail drought. I went to Iname and then was directed to www.mail.com. The Web site said some addresses might be unavailable because they were being "migrated" to a larger server. No customers were ever informed of this.
There are no phone numbers or addresses on either of the Web sites, so all contact must be through E-mail. mail.com promises a response within 48 hours, but I've written three messages beginning Monday 11/19 and received no response a week later.
I would suggest you pass these companies by unless you want to become a cyberspace cipher like me.
