La-Z-Boy Complaint - La-Z-Boy Crandell rockers are poorly designed

Review by bentbike369 on 2011-12-21
MONROE, MICHIGAN -- I have purchased three La-Z-Boy CranDell rocker recliners in the last seven years. All have broken, usually just after the warranty period. Although the CranDell is designed for big people the wood parts are held together only with glue and dowel rods, not bolts. I have a complaint in with the company but so far all customer support says is that I have to pay even more for repair. These are extremely expensive chairs and they should back them more than they do.

I have to ask. Why did you buy more after the first one broke?

It sounds like they are designed to last as long as the warranty. Typical.
