Toshiba Complaint - Toshiba 55SL417U LED TV

RIVERTON, UTAH -- TV went out within 3 months. TV has been out for two weeks with the prospects of repair looking like another 2 weeks. Customer service is ineffective. Even had them refuse to call me with updates on my case. I have to call them (a 15 minute process each time to get no results). I have now made at least 7 calls so far.

That's a fairly nice model of television. What retailer did you purchase it through? Have you contacted them to see if they could be of any help? Who is the servicer you are using?

A 30 day turn around time is about par for course in my experiences regarding electronics that are sent away for repair. I can see where it would be annoying for a new TV to fail after a couple months though. But at least it's under warranty.

It seems that these days, when a flat panel tv goes on the Fritz, a month is typical for it to be repaired. I am wondering of they have to fly replacement parts in from {insert foreign country} in most cases.
