Motorola Complaint - Motorola Flipside

RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- On my third one from ATT. Phone has not worked since I bought it. They just shipped out my 3rd refurb unit. I bought a new one in March and in May they replaced my new one with a refurb one because the original one had a known firmware issue. AT&T had me travel 20 miles from my home (they don't do warranty stuff at the AT&T stores) in order to pick up a used phone for my new one (pretty good swap for them). Second phone worked good for about a week. Then it started the same things the old one would do:
Dial random phone numbers
Lock up
Randomly selecting desktop icons
Moving desktop icons
Adding desktop icons
Bookmarking random websites
texting gibberish to random people
adding applications from the online store (no paid ones yet)
After sitting on the phone for an hour with AT&T it is apparent they don't care and won't be fixing it anytime soon. So they sent me out a third handset.
did I mention that the warranty runs off the original purchase date? Which means even though they sold me a defective phone they are crossing their fingers they can get me past mar 12, so they don't have to honor the warranty they sold?
