Larson Chevolet Complaint - Service Department - 2011 Chevolet Impala

Review by poynterdouglas17 on 2011-12-26
SUPERIOR, WISCONSIN -- My car a Chevrolet Impala 2011 car quit shifting into overdrive so I called Larson Chevrolet and made an appointment. I brought the car in the get fixed under warranty and when I went to pick it up they said that there wasn't anything wrong with the car and that the transmition worked find. they claim nothing came up on the codes. I told them that it was running down the highway at 2800 rpm at 70 mph, and before it was 2100 rpm at 70 mph. They asked me where I bought the car and told me to bring it there to fix it. I bought the car to Sonju where I bought it from and in an hour of two they called me and said that there is a problem with my transmition and they would order the parts and take care of it. I asked them if anything came up on the codes and He said that E-3 came up and that was a part in the transmition that broke. Larsons Chevrolet did not want to fix my car under warranty and lied to me about the repairs stating that thats the way the car should run.

It appears obvious that the dealer did not want to do the job because you had bought the car from another dealer 32 miles away.

while games like this happen with car dealerships, they shouldn't. They make less money doing warranty work, which could be why they turned you away. Bad form, in my opinion.
