Alamo Renta Car Complaint - Beware of Alamo Cancun Airport
CANCUN, MEXICO -- I rented a car on 12/2/2011 on Alamo Playa del Carmen and returned it next day at Alamo Cancun Airport. Because of some problem with my credit card, I left a cash deposit of US$500 that should be returned to me after I return the car without any problem.
When I returned the car, the Alamo's employee didn't know anything about this deposit. After he called someone, he returned to me US$400 with the promise that the missing US$100 would be deposit in my bank account. I was very late to my flight and had no other option than accept that. I signed a receipt of US$400.
I email Alamo Cancun Airport supervisor, Mr. Jaime Díaz de Sandi, who says the employee had returned me all the money. I asked him to verify the receipt but I didn't receive an answer. I file a compaint at Procuradoria Federal del Consumidor of Mexico.
After this problem I've read many other complaints about them. Beware of these crooked and liars of Alamo Cancun Airport.
