Time Warner Cable Complaint - Paying for cable when its broken
STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK -- Time Warner ripped me off. I was a customer for 22 years without ever leaving and 7 years ago I started noticing my service was messed up. A year ago I started going and paying my bill in person and complaining. Than this July poof phone cable and internet are broken. They sent technicians 4 times, but all 4 times they are the wrong technicians. After 3 months they finally fix. The whole time they told me I would be credited for all service while it was out. I had to find Time Warner repairmen in the street because no one would help me on phone. Ended up with 2 months credit and paying 280 for a month when I had no service. When I called client relations their answer was see you in court. After 22 years of being with 1 company they are having me cancel my service over 1 month when they know it didn't work. I am disabled and have paid over 250 a month for 22 years and to be treated like this is crazy. The client relations wouldn't even tell me what my bills were for the months when it was broken and thought I was playing a game. Weird situation I cannot believe this whole situation. It was never hooked up right in first place. Isn't it fraud to keep selling me non working services for 8 years? All this over a credit for non working service. Some company Time Warner is.
