AFM Complaint - AFM - 2 week old bonded leather couch, not good quality!

Review by tlough147 on 2011-12-29
THORNTON, COLORADO -- My couch is not even two weeks old, on Sunday it will be, and I already have pieces of leather falling off, or it looks like it's been picked.

The salesperson knew I had pets, and even talked about how you can just brush off the hair... never mentioned that if a cat walked across it, then nicks would happen... it's a huge mistake selling me this couch knowing I had animals. I'm not the salesperson, I trust them to sell me a nice durable quality couch! Not something that is not meeting my expectations... not even 2 weeks later. I was told already, no they can't help me. Now I have another person telling me to send me pictures... really? Why not come out and visit me! I doubt you will see these tiny spots. I will try. I don't feel comfortable even sitting on it with jeans, scared it will tear up pieces. This is not high quality of furniture I expected from AFM... this is our 3 couch there. Very disspointed and frustrated today!!

I am sorry this happened to you. May I suggest that the next time you purchase something similar, use your common sense DESPITE what the salesman tells you. After all, he is there to sell you something. While the animal dander may be easily wiped off, unless your cat is declawed, I cannot see the leather going unscathed. Just a thought, from one animal owner to another.
