Target Complaint - Bend over backward for Target and they'll slap your butt!
OKLAHOMA -- In November, I purchased three iPad 2 tablets from Target and opened a Target account. At $1,500.00, this is by far the largest purchase I ever made at a Target. I got a phone call several days later from their loss prevention manager telling me that the charges were never credited to the account and could I please come back with the iPads to be rescanned and charged. This could not be done over the phone. So I used another lunch break to return to Target so they could get their money. Of the three iPads, we kept two, but my daughter elected to return hers. It was past the 45 day policy and after talking to several managers, (Amy, Derrick, Cheryl, Kenneth), my request was refused. What really chapps my hide is the fact that the loss prevention manager told me that if I hadn't come back in, Target would have "eaten the cost" of the three iPads. I went out of my way for them to do the right thing but the favor was not returned. In fact, the last supervisor, Derrick, was quite nasty and threatening on the phone. Very disappointing, Target!
