Meijer, Inc. Complaint - Overcharging
BLOOMINGDALE, ILLINOIS -- I have shopped 5 times at the new Meijers that opened in our area. Every time I go to this store I get overcharged. When they advertise a product on sale such as all pepsi products they do not enter all of the products for pepsi in the scanner so some of the items will ring up at full price. This is an ongoing problem with Meijer at all of their stores. In 2 months I have been overcharged at total of $60.00. This should not happen. I do not have a problem with other stores why can't Meijer get their prices right?
I contacted the company and they are so rude. They said they care about customers and would forward my complaint to a regional manager who would call me. In 3 mo's I have not received that phone call. They really don't care about their customers or they would try and correct their problems.
The funny thing is I was in another store today and the lady behind me was saying how she got overcharged my Meijers. I told her this was an ongoing problem I will never shop the store again. It's not worth my time and gas to have to keep trying to correct what they should be doing in the first place. She had purchased diapers 1 package and when she got home found out she had been charged for 3.
I will never never shop this store again. I will give my business to someone who cares. I shop wal-mart and never never have problems with overcharges or returns at their stores. I will go back to them as they care more about their customers. As least if you have a problem with them they will call you back.
