The Honda Store Complaint - Dissatisfied customer

Review by terir1043 on 2011-12-31
LANCASTER, MASSACHUSETTS -- I came into your store to get a car.. The finance office would not return my phone calls.. Then I wrote on your web page and you said you wanted to help me but my name couldn't be on the car. I said it needed to be..Again you said you would help? but bottom line NO HELP!!!

You people are very unprofessional, Passing the buck to every one else.. I got a brand new car at Honda Village so thanks for nothing and all the help you wanted so much to give me which was BS!!! Joe and Carlos, in finance "Thanks for nothing"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would never ever do business with you people ever... You have no people skills and are not professional at all... You couldn't give my mother or I a straight answer on anything. Everything was a long process and I had to call but when you saw my number you wouldn't answer the call...

You really need to go back and learn how to deal with people. Since you can't do that properly, YOU ARE IN THE WRONG BUSINESS. MAYBE BURGER KING OR MC DONALD'S WOULD SUIT YOU BEST AND ONLY BY FLIPPING THE BURGERS IN THE BACK AND HAVING NO PEOPLE CONTACT..

ALSO THE SALES PEOPLE ARE READY TO ATTACK YOU WHEN YOU WALK IN THE DOOR..SEEING DOLLAR SIGNS IS ALL THEY CARE ABOUT.. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

First of all my credit being very bad and I had a co signer. The Honda Store wouldn't even give me the time of day.. Honda Village called me and told me they could help...

I got nothing but the truth no hassles and so bs they worked with me and that it was really matters .. I didn't have to listen to all the crap that most sales people give.. No stress at all unlike the Honda Store which they gave me so much bs...

Great People over at Honda Village they will work with you no matter what the situation is... Kudo's to Honda Village,Joe Chang and David Avery.. Thanks for making it a pleasure to deal,

Good information. BTW if you don't mind what kind of interest rate did you get?
Posted by terir1043 on 2012-01-01:
The interest rate all depends on your credit and mine is beyond bad... Its Honda Village in Newton that helped,, Ron Bouchards would not give me the time of day.

Your credit in your words is "beyond bad" and "very bad".

It sounds like they basically told you that "we'd like to help, but your credit is so bad that we can't finance you if your name is on the loan."
"you said you wanted to help me but my name couldn't be on the car and I said it needed to be.. you again said you would help but bottom line NO HELP!!!"

My reading of this is they communicated with you to let you know where you stood, and then refused to discuss the matter further with you. I agree that a potential customer's calls should not be ignored.

I'm glad that you were able to get what you wanted elsewhere, and good luck rebuildig your credit.

Actually they told me they could and would help but would not take calls from me... They also went into my cosigners credit when we told them they needed to wait and there was a refinance on a home pending.

Before they got the call from my cosigner they had already went into the credit and it caused a problem with the refinancing of the home..

They really are a horrible place to deal with... I'm sorry but if that's the way they do business they really don't have a clue.. They do not care about their customers they just want the sale.. I don't agree with their tacit's...

I have been a Honda financing customer prior and never once was I late..

They just didn't want to put the extra effort in and the lose and if they keep doing this they will have no business...
