Southwest Airlines Compliment - I'm proud of you, Southwest Air employee

On a flight from Orlando to Columbus this afternoon, I managed to lose my cell phone. While in baggage claim at CMH, I noticed my phone was nowhere to be found so I found a Southwest Air employee. In the "lost luggage" office I found two wonderful women who quickly got on their comms and radio'd the plane cleaning crew to be on the lookout for a cell phone. After I got my luggage off the belt, there was a woman there holding my cell phone with a smile. I thanked her but didn't think to get her name to send kudos to corporate. Thank you, unknown lady - you reinstated my confidence in customer service.
Air travel is a curse these days with cramped cattle car planes and service-with-an-attitude. I wasn't expecting to get my phone back so to have an airline employee actually go above and beyond made my day.

This is why Southwest is my favorite airline. They seem to really care about their passengers

Nice to see an airline doing well in customer service. I like Southwest, but I won't be flying the PIT to PHL anytime soon. Now that they have the only route there from PIT, they've jumped the fare about $300.

Alain, you have it close but wrong. PIT-PHL is served by both US Airways and Southwest, with Southwest discontinuing service Q1. Allegheny County's foolishness is why PIT was dehubbed and half of the airport is shuttered by plywood false walls.

Didn't know that US Air was still going there, Bete. PIT's a nice airport to use since it's never crowded, but that's not really good for the local economy. Another good thing about PIT is that you can always find a seat at the Irish Pub for breakfast and it's nice and quiet for reading a book while you wait for your flight!
