Dish TV Complaint - They Tried To Pull A Fast One
TUCSON, ARIZONA -- I called dish TV to get info about pricing. First they asked for my social security number to check my credit prior to installation. I refused saying I was just gathering information. Next they wanted to charge my credit card to reserve the pricing and I said no to that. Then they wanted to schedule installation so I wouldn't have to wait for it once I made a decision. I kept saying no and the woman kept insisting so I finally hung up on her when her tone became nasty. End of matter? No way. Today I received a contract in the mail with an installation date and charges different than I have been quoted. I called to get out of that and the jerk on the other end of the phone still tried to sell me services. What don't they understand about "no"? On top of all this, I found out that the bundle they tried to sell me isn't available where I live because the internet provider doesn't have enough bandwidth. What a scam!
